'When God Created the Coffee Break' by Esbjörn Svensson Trio (e.s.t.) / Track of the Day

Esbjörn Svensson sadly died in a diving accident in 2008. He would have turned fifty today.

The above video captures his trio, e.s.t. - one of the most iconic and influential jazz groups of recent times - playing When God Created the Coffee Break (a track from their 2002 album Strange Place for Snow).

The above video clip is of a live TV session by Anne’s brilliant ‘Triphase’ trio, featuring Leonardo Montana (piano) and Joan Eche-Puig (double bass).
